I considering John Deere's new iMatch quick-attach hitch? The iMatch looks like Deere's answer to the Freedom Hitch, without the need for a receiver on every implement. Have you used one? Does it easily attach to multiple implements? It's not easy to find on the John Deere site so I've attached a link below. I've been quoted a price of $240. Compared to the Freedom Hitch it would be very inexpensive if used with a number of implements. Thanks in advance for your help. JonB

Well, after looking the iMatch picture over, it looks like Landpride's Quick-Hitch with green paint. I hope it isn't, and can't tell for sure. I've attached a link to Landpride's site if you want to compare them. JonB ....

Are there any inexpensive quick hich solutions? I do not care if they are non-interchangable with other systems, I would just like to change out my tiller, mower and box blade quickly off the TC30 New Holland tractor I own...
It appears the JD Imatch requires their special implements or it can be 'easily removed for other implements", with no mention of an adapter plate or such.
Any help is appreciated

Deere's iMatch doesn't work with all implements, only with those where the distance between the top link and the lower links are within Deere parameters. I've heard the Freedom Hitch handles all variations, but it's expensive IMO. Each piece of equipment gets it's own coupling device at $200+ each. I've no experience with the Freedom Hitch but have heard it works well. I'm sure you can find more on it in the archives of this board. Best of luck. JonB ....

Quite a few people have one of the quick-hitch systems and like them. There are a few tricks to mounting implements, and I guess I never heard of quick hitches until I found enough of the tricks to keep myself happy. It normally takes me 5 - 10 minutes to swap most implements and not much longer for a backhoe. Just for what I do I figure I don't need to be much quicker.
Implements on blocks and a 5' prybar are my main swapping tools. It doesn’t slow me down that much even if I sit an implement on the ground. Most times the pins can be removed with finger pressure, and now I seldom bother to take a hammer and drift punch with me. My latest acquired trick is digging in the loader bucket so I can move the tractor short distances with the bucket curl. Might not even need that trick if I had HST. If an implement isn't quite square to the tractor, making the closest lower pin and then pushing the tractor back with the curl often lines up the other lower link without further fuss.
